1. General

In recent years, with the economic development and the growth of demand for resources, a large number of forest resources have been harvested, while the development of artificially cultivated forest resources is relatively lagging behind, and the natural environment of some countries and regions has been damaged. It is manifested by the destruction of a large number of forest vegetation, the deterioration of air quality, and serious water and soil loss. With the improvement of the public's awareness of environmental protection, the protection of natural ecological resources has received more and more attention. As a processing enterprise that takes paper materials as the main raw materials, it strengthens the management of products from natural ecological resources in the process of production and trade, which is also a manifestation of corporate social responsibility.

This procurement code of conduct is mainly formulated for specific wood fiber materials involved in the procurement control procedure XYT-QP-12 (V1) in the ISO quality management system, such as base paper, packaging materials, etc.

2. Procurement management

As specified, the paper, pulp and log fiber materials related to natural resources shall be purchased in accordance with domestic and international laws and regulations and the principle of fair trade.

2.1 Purchaser

2.1.1 The purchaser has the right to evaluate the qualification, supply and service capacity of the supplier.

2.1.2 The purchaser shall manage the materials involving paper, pulp and log fiber; Collect relevant laws and regulations; Trace to the source to ensure the legal procurement channels and methods; It conforms to the social moral evaluation system.

2.1.3 Under the guidance of the sustainable development strategy, the purchaser shall try to improve the use of non wood fiber raw materials; Do not use relevant high-value forest resource finished products; A high proportion of finished forest resources are planted artificially.

2.2 Supplier

2.2.1 As a responsible manufacturer, in the process of providing paper, pulp and log fiber products, the supplier shall, in addition to the general procurement requirements in the procurement control procedure XYT-QP-12 (V1), also:

a. There is no domestic or international ban on cutting forest raw materials, such as high-value forest resources;

b. Production and trade comply with domestic and international laws and regulations;

c. The management system is strict, and the production and manufacturing process of products has specific records and can be traced;

d. Cooperate with the purchaser to complete relevant questionnaires;

e. Provide continuous information and notify the purchaser before any change occurs;

f. Recommend new products and resources related to sustainable development strategy.

2.2.2 The supplier shall obtain business license qualification from the government regulatory department related to its business, and obtain relevant certification information from the third-party certification authority.

2.2.3 The supplier shall provide corresponding material safety information, and the production link shall have good environment, health and safety management; Comply with the operation mode based on public health and local laws and regulations.

2.2.4 The supplier shall establish and effectively manage and update the operation guidelines for paper, pulp, log fiber materials related to natural resources.

2.3 Purchasing personnel

2.3.1 The purchasing personnel of materials related to paper, pulp and log fiber shall be familiar with the purchasing process and requirements, understand the corresponding company regulations, and carry out purchasing activities in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations.

2.3.2 During the procurement process, suppliers are required to provide legitimate products and certificates of raw materials, and convey the company's vision and actions for sustainable development strategy.

2.3.3 Training and assessment shall be conducted for procurement personnel to ensure that procurement activities conform to the company's procurement code of conduct.
